New Assistant Manager for Launceston
Fri 04 May 2018
Millerson is delighted to announce the promotion of Lesley Lamley to Assistant Manager of the Launceston Office.
Lesley has extensive experience in the property industry spanning over 30 years in Devon and Cornwall, and has had various roles, starting out as a secretary when she left school and building up to senior sales/lettings negotiator. She has tried her hand as an auctioneer and enjoyed running several property and chattel auctions and has also spent time working in an architectural firm, which gave her a closer insight into design and planning matters.
First working for Millerson for five years back in the early 1990s, Lesley was enticed back to the firm in 2011, initially as a lettings negotiator and then switching, more recently, to the sales team. This knowledge of both sales and lettings proves invaluable to investors who are thinking about selling a rental property or indeed looking to buy one. Lesley is able to answer queries on current rental conditions and up to date legislation, thus ensuring that landlords are fully compliant and that they have the information they need to make fully informed commercial decisions.
Lesley commented, “I am absolutely thrilled with the opportunities that Millerson has given me over the years. To be appointed as Assistant Manager in our sales department has accelerated my ability to excel in the career that I love. Having known the Miller family since 1992, it is an honour to still be part of this family run business and I shall continue to be committed and passionate towards my role within the company and, as Millerson’s mission statement says, I will be "valuing people and property.”
Area Manager, Nic Scorrer, who has himself recently returned to Millerson, commented,” It is an absolute pleasure to work with Lesley and her promotion is highly deserved. Her enthusiasm, professionalism and knowledge of the industry are second to none and our clients’ can rest assured that their property transactions are very safe in her hands.”
