I have worked within the property industry for over 20 years and continue to find it inspiring. My vast knowledge of lettings and property management enables me to assist Landlords every step of the way, offering a personal and attentive service.
I joined Millerson because I was inspired by their values and the professional service they offer. I am a strong believer in the importance of communication and strive to listen to my clients’ needs and keep them updated at all times.
I am blessed to live in Cornwall and, as a nature lover, enjoy visiting the many beautiful beaches and walking on the coastal paths.
My wife and I moved to Devon in 2003 for a lifestyle change and I accidentally ended up being an estate agent, after working in the manufacturing sector for over 20 years back in my homeland of South Wales. The company who gave me this unexpected opportunity was The Millerson Family. I started my estate agency career as a junior negotiator in the Launceston office progressing to a managerial role, in Okehampton and Falmouth, working for them for approximately 12 years. I then had a 16 month sabbatical from the industry, until I was kindly asked to manage and oversee their Launceston and Liskeard branches. Another great opportunity for me to be an integral part of this third generation family business again, who offer true family values and passion to all their clients which is something many others do not. If I get any spare time, my passion outside of work is golf and I am a member of Launceston Golf Club. Love walking and exploring the Cornish coastlines and touring throughout Devon and Cornwall.
I am relishing my role as Assistant Manager having had over 30 years experience across many different aspects of the property industry. I first worked for the Miller family in 1990. With my extensive knowledge of the area and current market conditions I am able to offer expertise in all property fields and pride myself on outstanding customer service. I live locally to Launceston and enjoy retail therapy with my daughter and walking my dogs with my husband.
Until the birth of my second child, after which I took a short career break, I was employed by a regional firm of estate agents who covered Devon. After my career break I started worked at Millerson in a part time capacity as a sales negotiator. This opportunity afforded me the chance to get stuck into a property sales role as well as support and bring up my family – so Millerson gave me the best of both worlds ! I was originally from London and then moved to Kent where I lived until my mid-twenties. The chance to move and re-locate to such a beautiful part of the world was taken with relish and my family and I love living in the west country. Out of the office I love the country way of life, and spending time with my family and friends. I am also a keen cook, love listening to music and am a film buff !
I started with Millerson in April 2018 and am relishing the opportunity to develop my career in the property industry. Growing up in North Cornwall has given me an extensive knowledge of the local areas and communities and my 4 years' experience as a lifeguard on our local beaches has taught me the importance of outstanding customer service. My sales career started in telesales and my love for this kind of work has grown from there. I am enjoying building on these skills with the help of the team at Millerson Launceston.

Before settling on my lettings career I held various positions including working in Government and recruitment. The opportunity to join the family firm of Millerson was readily accepted by me as I was very keen to join a progressive and forward thinking company that put its people and customers first. Combining decades of tradition and reputation with cutting edge technology, training and marketing I am confident that the proposition and service I am able to offers customers is second to none. I have lived in Launceston all my life and now my children have left home I have more time to myself. I have started to undertake and enjoy exercise classes and most people who know me will find this hard to believe !
Millerson gave me the opportunity to join the company in 2007 and I welcomed this with open arms as I have always had an interest in property. As a family run firm with an exceptional reputation I have been given great training and support in my time with the company and this certainly gives me the confidence to be assured that all our clients are very professionally looked after. I am very fortunate to have lived in the area all my life so I have extensive local knowledge and contacts and being part of such a dedicated and committed team means that I relish the variety and challenges of the role. When not at work I enjoy being a busy mum to my son, spa weekends and catching up with friends over lunch combined with some shopping !
I have enjoyed a long and varied career in numerous industries in an administrative capacity and particularly enjoy the challenge that the housing market affords ! Different people, properties and challenges are faced every day but being part of such a committed team makes it all worthwhile with the satisfaction we all enjoy from a job well done. I was born in High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire where I spent most of my early life and was educated there. In 2015 I moved down to Launceston from Oxfordshire and started my career at Millerson shortly after arriving here. With a number of interests away from the branch I keep myself fully occupied. I like walking, reading and patchwork and now I am close to the sea, bodyboarding !
